Born in Saigon, rooted in Hackney, Uyen Luu is an award-winning cookbook author of four Vietnamese cookbooks published by Penguin Random House. Trained at Central St Martins in Fine Art Film & Video, she brings an artist's eye to food photography. At weekends, she runs her Vietnamese supper club and cooking classes from Hackney. She also leads intimate culinary retreats to France and Vietnam — and her photography studio in Hackney is available to hire for shoots, workshops and events.
